In the spring of 2007 we spent a couple of days in Virginia City Nevada - a real "living Ghost Town". Virginia City offers a lot of the old and some of the new. Mines, mansions, museums, railroad and tours will take you back to the founding days of the Comstock Lode. |

The summer of 2007 we spent 5 weeks touring New England and a bit of Canada.

Our first stop was Massachusetts. We enjoyed the big 4th of July celebration East Long Meadow offered. |

Then it was off to see the sights of Cape Cod. |

Most of our Connecticut visit was spent in the north and northwestern portion. |
Congamond Lake, West Suffield. The family had a cottage on this lake in the 1950's. |

Riverton sits on the banks of the Farmington River. Lambert Hitchcock, one of America's greatest chair makers built his mill in 1826. |

Kent State Park / Kent Falls |

West Cornwall Bridge, built in 1864, spans the Housatonic River. This bridge is one of two such bridges in the state open to automobile traffic. |
