When we tell folks we live in Montana, their first question is "Isn't it COLD?"  My answer back to them is always "Yes, it gets cold - but it is so PEACEFUL."

November snows bring a promise for a white Christmas in Montana.

 

A light rain after Christmas melted some of the snow and shrouded the meadow in fog.

Valentines Day snow.

Once the snow melts and spring returns so do our four footed friends.

By the end of June the does start to bring their fawns around.   This is my favorite time to be on the deck.

August often has stormy afternoons displaying beautiful skies.
