RHEAUME ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOMESTEAD

WELCOME  - We created this site for family and friends who constantly asked for photos of our area in Montana and our travels.  Please wander through the pages to see hundreds of photographs of Montana, our family & our adventures.

In 1993 we left the hustle and bustle of city life for the tranquillity of the Rockies. We gave up the rat race, left behind family, friends, smog, heat waves, etc. and traded them in for clean air, pleasant summers, cold snowy winters, poorly maintained roads with pot holes the size of Buicks and all the wildlife you could ever want to cross your lawn. From our little hideaway in the woods we can easily tour Glacier National Park in the morning, drive around Flathead Lake and be back in time to watch the sunset from our deck. For several years we hibernated in the winter, and went traveling in the summer.  Then cabin fever set in and we decided to migrate back California for the winters.  We found a peaceful community nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, close to our children, grandchildren and old friends.
